  • Maybe you are logged in or you have not active the maintenance mode, the first setting part.

Got the same problem..I have never been able to get this plugin to work..
does anybody know of another plugin that does work

If you are logged in or not active the maintenance mode on the settings, then you see the frontend. Check with a other browser, without login and check, if you active the maintenance mode, the first setting option on the plugin.

Hello… my apologies.. it does work.. It takes a little time to see the actual maintenance mode page… but its there..very good
At any rate I have a few more questions..
Please be patient since I am not well educated with code and related technical terminology..it takes me time to understand

I realize your are German..so the theme I picked was the animate flash…I like it but was wondering if any of the graphics and splash text within the maintenance mode themes are in english.. I did write my own note in the text field explaining “re-design my site”…but the graphics are in german..

#2 also what exactly is back-end is this…. the admin pages and front-end?…. is the site itself?
not sure what the terminology refers to..

    Thanks..
    Ralph
