[resolved] WP Maintenance Mode and Theme My Login plugins conflict: can't login (4 posts)

On activating both WP Maintenance Mode and Theme My Login plugins, there is a catch-22 going on, and I can't get past the login screen.

Is there something I can tweak in the background, say in SQL, to fix this, or to disable Theme My Login?

or should I just get in to the back end and delete the plugin files, effectively disabling it!

well that's what I had to do, delete the plugin files. maybe seeing both plugins are in the top list of plugins used, some tweaking would help so they can both be on at the same time. thanks.

It would seem that the only current way to have both 'WP Maintenance Mode' and 'Theme My Login' plugins active at the same time and have the ability to login as the site admin as well is to visit yourwebaddress.co.uk/wp-login.php. This page still works as the default WordPress one would.

I can view the login form when visiting yourwebaddress.co.uk/wp-admin but trying to login from that page only brings you back to the maintenance mode page and won't actually log you in.
