# wp-login.php not loading

 * Suddenly this evening I can’t login to my wordpress installation.
 * I click on login and it adds wp-login.php to the URL and then adds a leading 
   slash
 * so: [http://www.macmend.com](http://www.macmend.com)
    [http://www.macmend.com/wp-login.php](http://www.macmend.com/wp-login.php)
   [http://www.macmend.com/wp-login.php/](http://www.macmend.com/wp-login.php/)
 * I added one new plugin today get_recent_comments and that is all
 * I have tried different browsers, manually deleted cache, reset browsers, altered
   the super cache htaccess
    but just cant get to login, I have looked at other 
   posts here and all to no avail

 * so despite this being a common error, I can find no answer to this, someone somewhere
   must know about this or be aware of a solution
