# wp-login error!?

 * Clean install of wordpress 3.8.1.
 * trying to access the wp-admin and i get this
 * The webpage at [http://miche-mirzinho.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmiche-mirzinho.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1](http://miche-mirzinho.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmiche-mirzinho.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1)
   might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
   
   Error code: ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED
 * front end is working perfectly but i cant open the admin area..
 * any ideas what this might be?

 * Hi Mirinho,
    Try to temporarily switch to another WordPress theme (preferably
   the default one). To do that, navigate to your _wp-content/themes_ folder in 
   your FTP, download your current theme to your machine (to have its files safe)
   and remove it from the FTP. That will force WordPress to switch to another theme
   and say that the current theme doesn’t exist. Try this and see if you can then
   access the admin area. If you still can’t access it, put the theme back through
   FTP because it means it’s not theme-related.

 * Many hosts have experienced problems due to [ mass attacks](http://blog.hostgator.com/2013/04/11/global-wordpress-brute-force-flood/)
   and may have limited access to wp-admin and/or wp-login.php as a result. Your
   hosts may be one of them. Try contacting them about it.
