I following the article "Giving WordPress Its Own Directory" (http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory) to run my site from the root with wordpress installed in a folder (case 2 of article).

After that, when I try to logon on http://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-login.php the browser redirect to http://www.example.com/wordpress getting a 404 page not found.

    Any idea? Thank in advance.

I think you'll get a better answer if you could post the real URL as there are some clues given when different variations are tried.

All I can say at this point is that I am a heavy user of that particular article and it has never failed to work for me.
