• I know that I need to update, but I have been waiting for downtime.

I am the only admin using this WP install, and haven’t touched anything between yesterday and today. Now, all of our CSS and IMG file paths are being duplicated, and I’m not sure why.

Can someone tell me how to correct this, and why it might have happened out of nowhere? Also, WP autoupdates are off, obviously. Both WordPress install, and location are set the same in settings:

When loading the page, it’s looking for all CSS and IMG’s at this address with a clearly doubled file path:

    http://www.artacademy.edu/new-site-2013/wordpress-news/new-site-2013/wordpress-news/

It is pulling the text fine, so the database connection should be good, just a configuration glitch.

you can view it live here:

Any thoughts on how this could magically start doubling the path without me touching it? Something happening server side? I contacted them, and just said it’s a file path issue…

    Thanks,
    Jimmy

  • Hello Jimmy,

Hope you are doing good.I think you should go and check your permalink setting. You can change your setting once and then you can directly change to previous one. You should try this once.

    Thanks,
    Manish
