 * Hello Forum,
 * I have a problem with my backup. I’ve done a backup with backup migration to
   a new WP installation. After I installed the backup to the new installation WP
   always leads me to install.php I can’t get to wp-admin or to any other page.
 * Does anybody know what the problem could be?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fwp-leads-to-install-php%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi [@h2b2](https://wordpress.org/support/users/h2b2/)
 * If you’re using custom table prefix, please make sure it matches on the site
   where you restored your backup. You can check that in wp-config.php or the site
   where you created the backup.
 * $table_prefix variable should be same as the one on the site where you preformed
   restoration, once you adjust it, installation page should disappear and restoration
   should be complete immediately.

 * I corrected the wp-config.php-data. Now it leads to the right site.
 * But when I install the backup with Backup Migration, the site doesn’t know me
   anymore. It says my username/email address is not registered on that site.

 * Hi [@h2b2](https://wordpress.org/support/users/h2b2/)
 * After restoration you need to use accounts that existed at the time when you
   created the backup.
 * In other words: During restoration all accounts are getting replaced with the
   ones included in the backup, so, you should use the same details as on the site
   where you created the backup.
