    Hello,
my problem is that I was not able to make the WP-LaTeX plugin work on my blog. I followed exactly the instructions listed in the plugin description site

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-latex/

and in the “readme.txt” file packed in the wp-latex.0.7.zip archive.
    When I use $latex some_formulas$ I got the error

    “Formula does not parse”

even for simple formulas, and also the message

“Warning: extract() [function.extract]: First argument should be an array in /home/mhd-01/www.danieletampieri.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-latex.php on line 43”.

Knowing this, I have some questions

    1) Should I have a working LaTeX installation on the server?
    2) Or should I configure the wp-latex-admin.php in a way to use my local LaTeX installation?
    3) Why wp-latex-admin.php is not described in the installation procedure?

Thank you very much for your attention

    Best regards
    Daniele Tampieri
