 * Hi! I use Sublanguage and Contact Form 7 plugins on one website. CF7 relays on
   wp-json, and it seems like Sublanguage breaks it and instead of
    `/wp-json/contact-
   form-7/v1/contact-forms/4/feedback` form is sent to `/(LANGUAGE PREFIX)/wp-json/
   contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/4/feedback` which gives 404 error in console.
   I’ve checked all the settings, but din’t find any clue how to fix it. Am I missing
   something? Thanks
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fwp-json-gets-language-prefix%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello,
 * Thank you for submitting this issue. I believed /wp-json/ rewrite rules were
   only for REST API but I might be wrong. I just made a change to handle this.
   Can you download the developing version ([https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/sublanguage.zip](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/sublanguage.zip))
   and see if it works better? (after replacing the files in the plugin directory,
   also make a permalink refresh, by visiting “settings -> permalinks”)

 * I’ve checked, and with this version it works ok. Thank you very much!

 * I’ve run into the same problem and the version in comment works. Please push
   this change into official plugin repository. Thanks
