wp is adding empty tags to the entry

    Hello. running into a prob where there are now empty <p>tags added to the entry.
    I didn’t put them there. Even tried to use notepad to see if there was code that needed to be stripped.
    No dice.
    No matter what they are still there adding padding and margins that throw off the design. How can I solve this please?

    A quick example.

    the margin at top of the entry is not letting the text line up w/the top of image.

    Just for some clarification, are you using the visual editor or the text editor?

    Hi Daniela,

    That happens to me to when I switch between text and visual editor. You need to open the post and switch to text editor and save the post. When you open it again you will be in the text editor. Delete the extra <p>tags. Then save. This should solve the problem.

    thanks Stacy, i’ll take a look but I don’t have the extra p tag show up in editor.
