• I’ve got a site running WordPress in the usual public HTML directory. http://www.domain.com. At the same webhost, I have a public SSL folder in which I’ll place files that https — https://www.domain.com — will pull up.

For one of the nav links on the WordPress site, I would like it to refer to the secure form, like:

    https://www.domain.com/donate

What should I put in the public_SSL folder? Is there a way to extend the blog to another public folder somehow? Or, should I just copy the HTML template to that folder, forget about the blog loop, and just make a couple pages and have the links refer back to the main HTML site?

If I should just make a template, just what files do I need to put the template together?

    Thanks!

Found an alternative I didn’t think of: mapping the https: so it points to the same site as http:.

I’ll post something else here if I have trouble with the submit/response action of the donation form.

    Thanks!
