BDMSTUDIOS – Don’t post in all caps.
Are you talking about WordPress.com? Cause yeah, and they know.
Take a breathe. You could be having this trouble in Japan. Ahhh, better.
I’m going to assume you’re talking about issues with the API from WordPress.COM
You’re on WordPress.ORG, which is free, volunteer run, support for self hosted WP. We contact no one.
The APIs for WP-Stats and JetPack etc are run by WordPress.COM. And how they choose to release info is up to them.
Contact them at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
@kmessinger not fair to relate my post to the UNPRESSEDENTED DISSASTER in Japan!!!!
A new plugin is not a solution.. I see no official WP announcement that JetPack is replacing WP stats!

We cannot help you becuase we have no ability to help you with a problem with WordPress.COM issues.
And don’t double post. I’ve closed your other post(s).
I’m hearing that it’s been resolved already, from various people.
I don’t use their API personally (I use Akismet, that’s it) so I can’t check for you.
@ipstenu: checked the wp.stats just now. They are working fine again.
I just don’t understand want went wrong?
Still not working for me http://www.viverecapetown.com nor for many other sites it seems, from reading similar threads.
Ipstenu please forgive my ignorance, do you mean there is a way to use wp-stats without an API key, or do you mean you are not using wp-stats?
I am also using other stats (such as Google Analytics) but I find the quickest to update and to visualise are wp-stats.
A little patience . . . now back on one of my sites and I expect the other by tomorrow.
not fair . . .
relate, “to show or establish a casual connection” – I did not.
“Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.” – Oscar Wilde
I was pointing out that despite all your capital letters, exclamation points and etc. that the problem with stats was minor – really, you and all the others – stats are not a life or death situation – give things a chance to correct before hitting the big red panic button. Take time to think about the problem . . . it obviously was not WordPress.org.
I have to admit that the use of all capital letters was a bit OVER-THE-TOP!
It was not only the stats, but also both apps on iPhone that had an API/UR problem so I could not access my CMS anymore.
Cheers to Oscar,
It’s fixed, it’s just taking a long time to get propagated to all the myriad servers in use.
So the lesson here.
1) Don’t use all caps (it’s against forum policy)
2) Don’t use signatures (ditto)
3) Be patient, and explain exactly what’s wrong.
4) When told whom to contact as the correct person, go do that and stop complaining.
