WP grid with Theme

    I am working with a theme (Organic Shop from envato). The screen shots show a grid on the homepage under a slider. That theme doesn’t seem to have a grid included. I added a plugin for a grid but it just made my whole site disappear so I deleted the plugin and everything came back. It is normal for an ecommerce theme not to have a grid included? Where can I get instructions around the use of grids if I have to buy one? Thanks.
