Hello Dipak,
I wish I could the “great” update to NGG 2.0.x the guys of Photocrati did has killed wp-greet and a lot of other plugins. The only solution at the moment is going back to NGG 1.9.13.
The Photocrati guys wrote a tutorial how to do this

Seems they did a redesign and removed a lot of code other plugins relied on. If you compair the sources you can see that it is nearly a new plugin.
In my current mood I am thinking of replacing NGG with some other gallery.

Yes, I understand the updated NGG has made it difficult to run the WP-Greet code. I have managed to rollback the NGG plugin.
Yes, please consider a simple gallery instead.
I wonder – why other library and dependency again, if you could think of making it independent! I mean – can we have a directory as Gallery and each sub-directory under will be an album/ greeting container and each greeting/ image will take to the SEND-CARD page.
I understand – this would be easy for users like me to say, but will be a difficult to implement.

Hi Dipak,
so I spent the weekend to find a solution and found a workaround.
I just integrated it into wp-greet and it would be great if you can test it.
Please fetch the new version from wp-greet-3.3.zip.
If you use a version of NGG >= 2.0.0 and it is active an admin message is displayed guiding you what you have to change.
Please test it with 1.9.13 and 2.0.x and give feedback.
I do not ant to publish it and leading the wp-greet users into even more trouble without having feedback from some Betatesters.

What have you tried and please try to describe it in detail.
I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but I’ve seen the alert message and I wanted to try the workaround before downgrading the NextGen, however, I can’t seem to find the correct file to edit. My NextGen has been updated to 2.0.14, is it possible the file name has changed? There are no files called “products” at all…

well I have installed 2.0.14 too and there is a directory products/…
You can use the file 211_index.php in the wp-greet/patch directory and overwrite the index.php in /wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/thumbnails
It works. 🙂
