# WP getting 404 errors

 * Hello There,
 * I made a new installation of wordpress and I am getting some problems:
 * When I am posting a new post, the WP redirects you to the post page back after
   recording the post.
 * So, when I post, I got a lot of 404 errors, and I press F5 lots of time, and 
   sometimes It work and got me back to the post page, sometimes, I just cannot 
   access the page.
 * The weird thing is that everything looks fine, I dont know what to do, I thought
   that maybe was an .htaccess problem, but apparently it’s not.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

 * No plugins installed.
 * Any theme that I put I got this!
 * I already installed over and over and get the same problem.
 * I thought that maybe would be a server problem. But I have another wordpress 
   site, same version, but it’s an older installation, and I do not have this problem.
   And they are at the same host package.
 * I was reading and see that maybe would be a problem with mod_security problem,
   but the thread was from 2 or 3 years ago…
 * I’m stuck with this.

 * Do you have any custom .htaccess files/rules on the server? Are both sites hosted
   on the same server? Have you spoken to your hosts about this problem at all in
   case there’s an issue at their end?
