    Hello dbarrere,
    First, thank you for your plugin and hard work. I really like it!

    Unfortunately, I have been encountering an issue with the plugin recently.
    My problem is, that whenever I upload a picture to a subfolder the icons are no longer generated. (See here: https://ibb.co/mf2vfV). This worked initially but for a few weeks, it hasn’t anymore.
    Interestingly, the icons are generated and shown without a problem if I upload it to the default folder. (See here: https://ibb.co/iW6o0V). I can then move them to the subfolder without a problem.
    I have contacted Joomunited about this issue but they told me that the problem is not with WP Folder, but with WP Folders.

    Do you have any insights into this?
    Thanks,
    Ripei

    Hi Ripei,

    I have seen this issue one or two times but I’ve not been able to reproduce it on my end.
    I would think about a thumbnail generation problem because the files are moved while the thumbnails are generated.
    I have to dig in the WordPress code core to check the implementation of thumbnail generation on upload.
    Did you change anything, server configuration, new plugin, …? Even if it doesn’t seems to you linked to this problem?

    Best regards

    Hello,
    Thanks for your response.
    I do not remember adding anything which could have caused this issue. However, I do notice that from time to time it will work fine, but most of the time – currently about 90% of the time – it will not work.
    It’s a very strange issue.

    I may have found the origin of the issue.
    Would you be able to make a change in the plugin files, it will confirm the fix for this problem?
    In the file /wp-content/plugins/wp-media-folders/classes/wpmf.php, replace line 33 which is
    WPMediaFoldersQueue::proceedQueueAsync();

    by

    add_action('shutdown', function () {
          WPMediaFoldersQueue::proceedQueueAsync();
    });

    You should not have this problem anymore.
    Please let me know, so I can provide a new version with the modification.

    Best regards
