WP-Filebase plugin missing in wordpress.org repository

    WP-Filebase is no longer available in the wordpress.org repository
    I get following message on wordpress.org if clicking on view details from installed plugin.

    Whoops!

    We couldn’t find that plugin. Maybe you were looking for one of these?

    Can we expect the plugin back into the repository?

    The same for me and it look like for all other. What is going on? Should we search for another plugin (because stopping development) or is there something less critical going on?

    They removed it because it directly includes wp-load.php (IMO there is a good reason to do so), working on it to get it back. You should receive updates anyway (3.1.05 includes the fix), served through the WP-Filebase Pro update channel, even if you are on free. Otherwise check https://github.com/f4bsch/WP-Filebase for latest changes.

    It seems to me, plugin have to be rewritten so there is no need to include wp-load.php.
