Fixed it. I turned off the “Create Thumbnail” feature. I didn’t think it would still try to generate them if they were already there, but it does.

Just to note… I was uploading my own thumbs because the generated thumbs were all greyed out. I believe this to be caused by my shared hosting using an outdated version of Ghostscript which they refused to update to a more recent version which would have taken them less than 5 minutes to do, as I ended up installing the latest version on my local computer to create my own thumbs. GoDaddy is lazy!!

This is the program I used which gives you a 15 day, full-version trial…

Ugh!!! After adding some new files via FTP and doing a sync, WP-Filebase has again detected my jpg thumbnails as files and listed them on the website, so it again shows my PDF files without any thumbnails and the JPG’s right below them as files with thumbnails of themselves. This is ridiculous that I cannot add my own thumbnails as described in the plugin’s info. This plugin has not been worth the money I paid for it considering the frustration involved in getting it to work properly with no resolution in sight, and no reply from the author to boot. Very disappointed thus far. Sitting here waiting for a response while my site goes nowhere. 🙁

Note: Generate PDF thumbnails is unchecked in the settings.

Why is it not recognizing my jpg’s as thumbnails? They are all the same exact name as the PDF files.
