I’m using this plugin on a few sites successfully. Keep up the good work! Thanks.

Meanwhile, every now and then, I notice that my theme’s (Divi) settings get forgotten (the one’s I set in the WordPress Customizer), so it reverts to the default Divi settings. I notice it because for example my menu goes back to default font colour.

If I clear the WP Fastest cache, it starts working again immediately.

Have you seen anything like this before?

do you mean that you cannot see the changes until you clear cache?

Page edits are fine – it’s set to clear the cache after each edit.

I mean at some random time days later (while not making any changes) it just doesn’t display properly, seemingly ignoring various settings in the customizer. It fixes immediately if I clear the cache. It’s doing my head in trying to think what would cause this!

I am not talking about post/page edit. I am talking about editing any css file.

Ah ok. Nothing to do with edits on anything as far as I remember. So for example, I made this site live for a client https://honeybearfilms.com.au/ And it looked good. Then a few days later, without me doing anything on the site, the menu font and colours had reverted to the theme default. I logged in, cleared cache and it was fine and has been fine ever since. That one happens to be using cloudflare, but I’ve had it on test sites too.

It’s obviously probable that it’s a “pebkac” 😀 – I just can’t think of anything I would have done that would cause this.

Before clearing the cache to fix, I did try other browsers and private browsing windows to rule out browser caching weirdness.

If it happens again on one of my test sites, I’ll leave it in place to show you.

If you can’t think of anything at the moment, please reply to say so and I’ll mark as resolved for now. Very impressed with your response time by the way.

The problem is caused by wp nonce security system. You should set a cache timeout rule as below.

Ah cool. Will this be a default setting in new versions then? Anyway, I’ve made that change on a few sites. Cheers.
