    On my AMP posts, WP Facebook Comments works perfectly. I have installed bbPress-for-AMP. This causes the following error in Google Search Console “The extension ‘amp-facebook-comments’ was found on this page, but is unused. Please remove this extension.”

    The bbPress-for-AMP plugin builder tech fixed the Search Console errors by turning amp-facebook-comments off. That’s like turning your car engine off because it is making a funny noise! It stops the funny noise but you have no car.

    It seems I can have the forum on AMP, or WP Facebook comments on AMP, but not both. Considering 80% of my traffic is from mobile I need both working. Is there a possible workaround? Thankyou.

    We would love to add features but need more details.
    We can’t say about other plugins but we can add functionality in our plugin.
    Did you mean you need our plugin working on mobile pages? Yes it does.
    Or please let us know what exactly functionality you need. We will try our best to provide.

    Yes, your WP Facebook Comments plugin works perfectly on Desktop and AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) Mobile. The problem is that with bbPress-for-AMP plugin installed to make my forum run on AMP, Google Search Console throws the error “The extension ‘amp-facebook-comments’ was found on this page, but is unused. Please remove this extension.”

    I cannot turn WP Facebook Comments off for just the forum. So, therefore, must turn WP Facebook Comments off for the whole site including 800 article posts that have nothing to do with the forum. If I were to turn bbPress-for-AMP plugin off I wouldn’t get the Google Search Console error.
