WP Eventmanager [past_events] shortcode does not find events

    I am using WordPress 5.9.3 and WP Event Manager 3.1.29

    Using the shortcode [past_events] does not find any events even though there are many.

    If I use [events selected_datetime=”1/1/2015, today”] I see the past events
