# WP error

 * Hello,
    I have been trying to access my page or for a few hours, but getting 
   this message error:
 * **Error establishing a database connection**
 * This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.
   php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This
   could mean your host’s database server is down.
 *  * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that
   you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server 
   is running?
 * My host is working fine, I can access all the files and pages on my server. The
   site was running normally untill I started receiving this message on my main 
   page instead of seeing my website. I haven’t changed anything.

 * That happens to my blog when the database server of my host is down, most of 
   the time that is temporary in my case.
 * In that case this is not the fault of your blog – if you didn’t make system changes.
   
   Contact your host, with hopes they fix that fast 🙂
