WP-Email and problems with special characters

    Hello, I integrated WP-Email into my blog and all works fine except for the special chars. I have some ä and ü in my text and in the warning popup where it tells me about missing fields, I always get &auml instead of ä. Using an ä does not display the message at all.

    How can I change this?
