[Resolved] [WP E-Commerce] Broken product images / migration to new server

  • So I’m trying to migrate WordPress and WP E-Commerce from Blue Host to Crazy Domains for a client.

When I imported the database to the new host the site seems to be there just fine but the images for the products are no longer pointing to the correct location.

The temporary URL for the site is in a subfolder so it complicates pathing issues a little bit.

For example, please compare these two pages:
    Live site –
    http://www.lovestamp.com.au/products-page/girl

    Here’s the temp migration site:
    http://cpanel4.syra.net.au/~lovestam/products-page/girl

Beware, a bunch of the links and things in the site are hardcoded so they will take you to the live site. This is a project that was put in my lap and I did not do any of the original coding.

Anyone have a clue on how I might be able to fix the paths? I put a base href tag in the head of the theme in order to try and force relative paths to include http://cpanel4.syra.net.au/~lovestam but it hasn’t seemed to help.
