I lost the site due to file system corruption (don’t know how that happened). Hence, I could not get the site restarted. Anyways, I was able to save a copy of my site’s DB. So now Im trying to bring my site up by installing a newer version of Wp 5.4.4. (old theme is not compatible with latest wp version) WP loaded fine with default themes. Then I installed the old vantage theme, it loaded fine, I was bale to get access the admin dashboard and all functions. Then I dropped this DB and replaced with my site’s saved DB. Now my site loas de theme header but nothing else. I can login as admin but the dashboard does not load any admin functionality so I cannot do any changes to the theme. * Just in case, I have done all steps mentioned here but nothing has worked so far. This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles. * If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) It will add some additional feature under create a new menu position Tools > Site Health. On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, **without affecting normal visitors to your site**. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues. Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus)( no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/), or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/ themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. See if you can navigate to yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php and regain any back-end navigation at all. Also, take a look at the similar issues that have had discussion here in the forums and see if anything shares similarities with your situation.
