# WP-Creativix Parse Error

 * Hello Forum,
    I hope someone might be able to help me (hopefully a volunteer 
   who may see this) I am not technical savvy, but I am having problems with my 
   website. I am receiving a parse error
 * **Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /hermes/waloraweb044/b2041/moo.
   chellecaldwellcom/wp-content/themes/wp-creativix/comments.php on line 32**
 * and also, the home page displays the dashboard up above when I “Visit My Site”,
   when I go to the other tabs, the mini dashboard does not appear so I can edit
   a page.

 * New error…I don’t know if anyone is out there.
    I’m trying to figure out the 
   code in the editor box. I studied it and tried to figure out the pattern. The
   error changed to:
 * **Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF, expecting ‘:’ in /hermes/waloraweb044/
   b2041/moo.chellecaldwellcom/wp-content/themes/wp-creativix/comments.php on line
   29**

 * have you tried to install a fresh copy of the theme?
 * (don’t, if you have made important customisations to the theme.
    if you do, make
   a backup copy first, and also a backup of your database – [http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups](http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups))
 * have you at least tried to upload a new copy of comments.php?
