• so I am trying out the network install of wordpress on my site. (at photos.flyinfiddlesticks.com) – I have done most of the tasks described in the “Create a network” page.

However I am getting stuck when it says:

“edit the httpd.conf” file. Now I dont see it in /etc or elsewhere how on earth to edit that?

It also says that I cant enable subdomains without that – is that true?

I also saw that httpd.conf doent seem to be available to users using a hosting provider – in that case how would one use, or create the network, using WP? (and does that still apply? – the threads were over 2 yrs old)

    sorry mistake ;(
