# /wp-content/uploads Media Library

 * I had ~125 files that I needed to get uploaded and used ftp and uploaded them
   to /wp-content/uploads
 * Now the problem comes in. When I go into the library I only see ~10 pics that
   I uploaded.
 * Where did the rest of them run off to? How do I get all of them to show so I 
   can get them on to the page?

 * WordPress can only save a library entry for a media file if it’s uploaded through
   WordPress.
 * If you need to upload files via FTP instead, try this plugin afterwards: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/)
