 * So I created a free blog. without the download. just online.

   I do not have wp-content/plugins. Ive looked everywhere.. I cant get plugins 
   or find that directory…
 * sorry for the noob question but its frustrating me.. I want to install facebook“
   like” and social media post options… but I cant get any plugins?

 * You can’t install plugins on a wordpress.com blog. There are some things that
   you can do to enhance the blog beyond the basics, but you’ll have to ask in the
   wordpress.com support forums:

 * Also.. I added wp-content/plugins to the end of the blog url.. it loads a blank
   page…

 * That is technically correct. Like I said, there’s probably a way to add some 
   Facebook functionality as a widget to the sidebar, but the wordpress.com support
   forums would be the best place to ask that.
