  • Hi,

I have just tried to login to my website and I have encountered the following script on the screen, above the dashboard, and its also visible on my website:

Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /home/www/stephmacleod.com/wp-config.php on line 45

Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /home/www/stephmacleod.com/wp-config.php on line 46

Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /home/www/stephmacleod.com/wp-config.php on line 47

Can anyone advise what I should do, and also, can I edit the files via the backend. I’m on the road at the minute and away from my computer at home.

    Many thanks

    S.

  • If you backup your WordPress files, then restore a copy of your wp-config.php file.

If you don’t have a backup, then use the wp-config-sample.php and use that to create a new wp-config.php.

You might make a copy of your existing wp-config.php before starting as it may have some useful info such as DB_HOST, DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD, and $table_prefix values.
