 * I’m getting “error establishing database connection” and all the advice on the
   support forum says I have to check my wp-config.php file. I am not a programmer.
   This the first time my blog has simply “disappeared.” Please, assume I’m an idiot
   and talk me through what I need to do to fix it.

 * Talk to your host and make sure the database server is up and running. If the
   blog was working, and you changed NOTHING, then either the host changed something,
   or the database server is down.
