[Resolved] WP Clone – Error message: Not Found

  • I’m trying to clone a WP site on one domain to a new WordPress install on a different domain. Both installs of WP are 3.6.

I have no problem creating the backup in the first site. But when I paste in the URL to do a Restore on the second site, I get this error message:

The plugin encountered an error while downloading the zip file, the following error message was returned:

    Error Message : Not Found

Temporary files created in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/wpclone-temp will be deleted.

    Can anyone help with this?

    Many thanks.

  • RESOLVED. Apparently there wasn’t enough storage space on the first site to fit the backup file. After increasing storage space on the first site, the Restore on the second site went fine.
