# WP cannot load Javascript

 * Hi,
 *  I’ve a problem with my site, it’s not able to load javascript on both frontend/
   backend after I tried to optimize the site with wp wocket/autoptimize.
    I’ve 
   disabled the scripts and deleted it. However I’m getting these errors in Firefox
   dev. console.
 * Problem examples in dev console:
 * Loading failed for the <script> with source [https://www.example.com/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/build/dom-ready/index.js?ver=eedb868d41e04944837a3449ed3c1b47”](https://www.example.com/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/build/dom-ready/index.js?ver=eedb868d41e04944837a3449ed3c1b47”).(
   403 error)
 * But if I hit the link directly:
    [https://www.example.com/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/build/dom-ready/index.js](https://www.example.com/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/build/dom-ready/index.js)(
   200)
 * Somehow I think caching is messing up the loading of jquery ? Thank you for the
   help !

 * As autoptimize doesn’t optimize the backend (and since is makes no changes to
   original site so once uninstalled all is back as before), it must be something
   else then AO.

 * Thanks for the reply. One thing I obverved after uninstalling autoptimize is 
   somehow the site is still loading the cached version of the mimimized/minify 
   css/js in the headers. I tried to reload the web server with no avail. I had 
   to go into the wp-content/cache dir and wiped out the autoptimize the directory
   and refresh the server, so it didn’t load anymore.
 * I’m getting :
    ReferenceError: wp is not defined before the failed load of the
   javascript, if that means anything.

 * Perhaps .. I did try many things, perhaps I didn’t stop the cloudflare proxy 
   at the time. But after disablinng and uninstall autoptimize, it didn’t remove
   the cache dir, so I had to manually delete it while trying to debug this thing.
