# WP-Cache Manager Problem

 * In my Option –> WP Cache I see the following:
 * “advanced-cache.php link does not exist
    Create it by executing: ln -s /home/
   erusch/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php /home/erusch/
   public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php in your server Cannot continue… fix
   previous problems and retry.”
 * Can anyone explain in dunce level language what to do to fix it. If it’s worth
   fixing.

 * You have to have shell access to the server and you’ll have to use a SSH client
   like “putty” to logon to your account. Once you’ve done that you need to execute
   the command to create the link:
 * `ln -s /home/erusch/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php/
   home/erusch/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php`
 * Speak with your host provider if you’re still not sure how to go about it. They’ll
   be happy to assist.
