 * Hi, this is my first post and I have a tiny and irritant problem.
 * In my blog I will (in the future, because it’s not ready yet) post PHP codes
   and the PHP tags (<?php) are being “broken” by WordPress (I guess) or one of
   various plugins.
 * The way of “break” is, after I publish a post, **<?php** is turned into **<?
   php**,with a extra space added inside them.
 * I have a screenshot of all my plugins [here](http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8969/pluginsz.png)
   but I don’t know the problematic plugin (if a plugin is the problem)
 * So, I’m sory for the English grammar and thank you in advance.

 * Try a newer php plugin: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=php](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=php)

 * I tried. I change my choice to [PHP Exec](http://priyadi.net/archives/2005/03/02/wordpress-php-exec-plugin/).
 * I try to disable the [Syntax Highlight](http://www.lastengine.com/syntax-highlighter-wordpress-plugin)
   plugin too, but still adding the extra space.

 * Well, I know I already post but I can’t see an edit button and/or feature.
 * The problem was solved uncheking the option, in Write Settings, that allow WP
   to fix incorrect XHTML tags
