Support » Plugin: Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget) » WP Bakery (Visual Composer) compatibility

  • I also would like to have Visual Composer available in the content blocks editor.

    I found another thread requeseting this here:

    I added the function to function.php

    function filter_content_block_init() {
    $content_block_public = true;
    return $content_block_public;

    This seems to have no effect. Any ideas?

    I know this isn’t officially supported so any advice you can offer is welcome! Thanks.

    Sorry but I don’t have Visual Composer so I cannot test this. I am focussing primarily on the WordPress Block Editor since this seems to be the future for WordPress.

    I understand. I personally don’t use the Block Editor and hate it.

    Keep in mind too that there is a free version of Visual Composer:

    You don’t have to have a commercial license to test a way to get it working.
