I have 2 WP users, the first created when I installed WP, the second I created from the back end. From the Dashboard, when I click FE-Users > Dashboard it says in the little orange box that I have 2 users. So far so good. But there is a problem. When I click Settings > Users, my two users do not show up in the FE-Users list. That would be fine, EXCEPT, the FE-User plugin short codes do not recognize when I am logged with one of my WP back end user accounts. Does this mean I have to create ANOTHER two accounts through FE-Users before it will recognize and work with my back end users? If so, this is a pain. Thank goodness I didn’t have 50 users before I found the plugin. There must be a better solution than this. Please advise.

    Hi zy,

As is mentioned on the plugin page here, the Front-End Only Users plugin – as well as the users created in it – was designed to be separate and independent from the WordPress users. Regular WordPress users (not those created with our plugin) will not show up in the Users tab of our plugin. If you enable the “Include WordPress Users” option, then those who are logged in as a regular WordPress user will be allowed to access restricted content, but they still won’t show in the Users tab. If you want to be able to manage users in the Users tab, then they need to be created using our plugin, either via the back end or using the registration form on the front end.
