WP Audio player does not work (or even appear)

I currently have podcasts in my blog that are clickable MP3 links. (Was set up this way when the site was in B2…the MP3 files open in a new window and automatically play.)

I’m trying to configure the WP Audio player, but it doesn’t work. The plug in is activated, but it doesn’t even seem like the code is responding to it. In HTML view, I’ve inserted this code into a test blog:

When I view the post, all I see is the text listed above. I’ve referred to all the info here:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/

Any ideas? Thanks.
