 * hi all
    i am making a CMS site in worspress, i will be having nearlly 1000 pages
   in my site. I want to ask that would too many pages effect my WP………
 * Also i want to install 2 wordpress on same domain, one for my main site and second
   for hotel and classified. Is this a good way to separate the two working of WP.

 * Sorry, the 1000 pages … are we talking PAGES or POSTS? 1000 pages would be …
   questionable IMO. The more pages you have, the slower your sites get. Posts are
   more robust.
 * > if i have different WP instalation what will be drawbacks.
 * Different logins, different DBs, different source code (so you have to upgrade
   everything multiple times, etc).

 * means i should make more of post rather pages
    eg if i want to make a city description
   page in my CMS i should make it as post rather as page. or in another words a
   aboutus, contact us page as a post rather page
 * but putting these pages as post will effect my CMS or nor.
 * What will be draw backs using post rather than pages
    or should i opt with other
   CMS platform like joomla etc.. Please help

 * A lot of that is subjective.
 * You need to think about the layout of your site before you want to build it.
 * What’s going to be on the pages? How do YOU want them structured? Draw it all
   out first. Then find the CMS tool that meets your needs.

 * > If I have 2 different WP instalation and want that the header of first wp instaltion
   > can be used as it is in second WP instalation. Can this be done, Both WP have
   > same theme installed
 * Also if i have my multiple WP installation structure as follows So:
 * mydomain.com <<– root installation
    mydomain.com/subfolder/ <<— sub installation…
   mydomain.com/subfolder_2/ <<— sub installation 2…
 * can I Access my all pages on my root location from my subfolder installation.
 * Thanks in advance

 * I didn’t answer your question because it’s pretty nebulous, has a LOT to do with
   personal taste, and for free support, I’m not going to do your work for you 🙂
   YOU need to decide what you want, spell it all out, and either start learning
   how to do it or hire someone to do it.
 * Even if you use WordPress’s MultiSite feature (ala [http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network](http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network))
   then you WILL NOT have all your pages accessible from all the sites. Each site
   is it’s own entity.
