I created a new subdomain and added this plugin. It is working fine on other sites I have but on this subdomain AND other subdomain site on a different hosting platform…both are inaccessible via the login.

I set up both plugins the same way following the steps in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6G8n_c18xw which I use as my setup guide.

I get wrong message wrong details, I even tried to send for “forgot password” that gives an error message too.

I turned all plugins off via CPanel, and through test and measure it is this plugin which is causing the issues.

I cannot see the solution in the forums here, if I’m missing a solution, can somebody point me in the right direction.

    thank you.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

What is the difference between both hosting platforms? This should give you a clue why it works in one server and not the other server. I am also curious to know.

    Thank you

    Hi,

The original site and the subdomain are both on the same hosting platform, Hostpapa. The subdomain just will not allow login when the plugin is active.

Another similar scenario is a site I’m building for another client, BlueHost hosting the identical issue, her main site works fine which doesn’t have the plugin, but subdomain with the plugin, will not allow login.

Are these network sites you are building?

Hi, what are the server specs for the site our plugin works?

    Thank you

It’s on the Hostpapa platform. The original wordpress site using the plugin has no problems. The subdomain I created on the same site/hosting platform is the one creating the lockout issues.

    Hi,

    It’s on the Hostpapa platform.

What type of server is it? For example: Apache, Nginx, Windows etc. Also what type of specs is running in your server? This information can sometimes be very helpful. The following tab in our plugin can help you. Go to WP Security -> Dashboard -> System Info.

The subdomain I created on the same site/hosting platform is the one creating the lockout issues.

Check your .htaccess file. There might be a configuration code not compatible with your server.
