Hi, after installing WP-Piwik 1.0.11, I get this message when clicking on the ‘Settings’ link on the plugins page:

    Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/settings.php was not found on this server.

I’m using MultiSite, but I tried from both the Network admin and an individual site.

Also, the dashboard says the plugin is Network Enabled with no toggles.
I’d like to only use it for certain sites.

I’m still getting this error, even after upgrading WP and all plugins.

Did you use WP-Piwik before? Did it work as expected?

Can you post the requested URL? Did you try to reach the plugin’s settings by following the menu link (on the left) instead of using the link on the plugins page?

Can you try to replace settings.php by network/settings.php?

    Hi,

    I haven’t used WP-Piwik before.

    What do you mean by
“Can you post the requested URL?”

    /wp-admin/settings.php
    does not exist.

I don’t see WP-Piwik on the left menus; it’s not showing like it is on https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-piwik/screenshots/

Are you sure settings.php is supposed to be there? It’s not in the current WP install files (I checked).

    Thanks!

The plugin is Network Activated, btw.

The WP-Piwik link doesn’t appear because WP-Piwik is not connected yet. But there should be the WP-Piwik Settings link in your menu. Just use this one instead of the link shown in the plugin list.

The requested URL is the URL the link in your plugins list refers to. This may help me when I try to identify why the correct link generation failed.

Hi, I don’t see anything about Piwik in the left menu in the WP dashboard.

It won’t appear in the dashboard section, it will appear in the settings section:

    My Sites -> Network Admin -> Settings -> WP-Piwik

There you have to configure WP-Piwik first before you can get stats via My Sites -> Network Admin -> Dashboard -> WP-Piwik.

The misleading link only appears if you show the plugins overview on a individual site. With WP-Piwik 1.0.12 individual sites won’t shown this link anymore.
