This shows that I have 3 Comments 6 in moderation, however when I am on the comments page there is nothing showing. It shows a number in () after the all, pending, approved etc. but there are no messages. I don’t know how the ones that got approved were approved.
When I look in my phpAdmin I can see the messages, but I cannot access them from my backend of WP and they do not show up on the posts, but the posts do indicate there are comments. I searched the archives and haven’t found anything regarding this. I am very new to all this, so maybe I am missing something simple? I already deactivated all my plugins and that didn’t fix the issue. Please help.
After looking into this further in the phpAdmin I notice that the commentID field lists all of the outstanding comments having an ID of 0.
I am assuming this is the issue, but –
1) how/why did it happen and 2) how do I fix it?
