# wp-admin/update-core.php?action= HANGS

 * Hello,
 * On my website _[ redundant link removed ]_ whenever I do an activity based around
   
   wp-admin/update-core.php?action=do-translation-upgrade
 * Or any plugin or something that runs around that nature, the page just goes white,
   the Chrome circle spins and it hangs. When I wait 2-3 minutes and click the ‘
   back’ button on a browser and go to ‘re do it’ you get the warning box on Chrome,
   but then it goes and shows it as having been done.
 * So its completing the task, but also hanging and not going back to the dashboard.
 * Would like to know why, just in case there is a underlying issue that needs solving.

   your specific installation. The next time this happens, check both your browser
   console and the server’s error log for clues to what the problem was.
