    Nice plugin.

Not a big deal, but I found if you try to login to your Dashboard while logged out via example.com/wp-admin/ rather than example.com/wp-login.php (I login this way all the time, basically type /wp-admin/ after the main domain name as easier to remember than wp-login.php: not sure why I find the former easier to remember :-)) the standard WordPress redirect (/wp-admin/ redirects to /wp-login.php with format /wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1) trips one of the bad URL formats: solution use /wp-login.php to login.

I guess few people login via wp-admin, so not a big issue since there’s the correct way wp-login.php, thought I’d stick the info online for the other two people who login this way 🙂

    Hi David,

While I haven’t seen this issue on the sites where I run BBQ, there’s a little .htaccess rule that you can use to make for a simpler log in URL:

Hi David, I just tested this using a default install of WordPress and the latest version of the plugin (20130707), and everything seems to work normally.. it could be that another plugin or script is interfering with the login redirect..? The theme may also be involved somehow, so that could be checked as well.

Josh, thanks for posting the link 🙂

In hindsight looks like it’s because I was testing on localhost, checked a live site and it’s working fine.

Had a look at the plugin code and guess it’s the localhost rules.

So looks like not an issue after all.

    Thanks for checking.

    David
