# wp-admin stopped working – 500 error

 * Hi there,
 * My site [http://www.jackwallington.com](http://www.jackwallington.com) has been
   working absolutely fine, and the front end is working now but wp-admin is giving
   me 500 errors.
 * I don’t suppose it is to do with an update? As an icon has appeared for something
   to be updated.

 * Yeah I think that maybe the problem. Have you tried disabling all your plugins
   and reverting to a default theme?

   phpmyadmin

 * I’ve just switched off plugins and switched them back on and everything is now
   working again. Thanks!
