    Hello,

Recently I had problems with trojan code being injected into my index.php. Got it cleared up, but now, on my WP-Admin, when listing the users who are admins, it shows the normal 2, but it shows 9 on the admins count. Its like this:

    Administrador (9)

I wonder if this can be caused by some attack. How can I list the admins on phpMyadmin?

    Thanks

  • Probably because the user accounts you (may have) removed from the users table still have a capabilities entry in the usermeta table of the database.

The count is returned by a function count_users() which performs a query that looks at the usermeta table to determine how many users have a given role. I’d guess your admin entries still exist there, hence why they add to the count.

    I see, thanks man.
