# wp-admin remove the subfolder URL

 * Hello everyone,
 * I have a problem with WP. I have a website with this URL: [http://sub.domain.com/subfolder](http://sub.domain.com/subfolder)
   My Website works fine, but when I connect on wp-admin, **the subfolder URL disappeared**(
   [http://sub.domain.com/wp-admin](http://sub.domain.com/wp-admin)). I don’t understand
   why the subfolder disappears ?

   if your **Site Address (URL)** is set to [http://sub.domain.com/subfolder](http://sub.domain.com/subfolder)
   but your **WordPress Address (URL)** is set to [http://sub.domain.com/](http://sub.domain.com/)(
   both of these are configured under the Settings → General screen).
 * (Note, however, that you wouldn’t want to simply change the latter URL if your
   WordPress files are actually stored in that location.)
