wp admin redirects to 404 page!

    Hi,

    a few days ago a strange error appears on a wordpress site that does not give me a 404 error when I log in to the site administration dashboard.

    Such a thing has never happened to me…

    Reading some guides I had solved temporarily by changing phpmyadmin the siteurl from https to http, but the problem has recurred again…

    anyone?

    Hi @tenadv

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    problem solved. it was a plugin that block IP.
