# wp-admin not working

 * I’m struggling to get into my wordpress site as the wp-admin link isn’t working
   anymore.
 * The website itself [http://www.samesearch.co.uk ](http://www.samesearch.co.uk)
   works fine but access to the admin area completely hangs with a blank screen.
 * Although I can see my admin page (as I still have the page open from a few days
   back) when I try to access anything in it the blank screen appears.
 * I have installed a number of plugins and I believe one in particular (page link
   manager) has casued this problem. How do I resolve it.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s
   folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name
   using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

 * resetting the plugins folder has just messed up the whole website, I’m now in
   a worse position than not being able to access my website.
