# wp-admin not working

 * I am having issues getting to my dashboard. I have my WordPress installation 
   in a sub folder on my server where I have other WordPress installations. Though
   I have never run across this problem before. When I try to go login, the url 
   of the page shows:
 * [http://www.mywebsite.com/websites/mywebsite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmywebsite.com%2Fwp-admin%2F](http://www.mywebsite.com/websites/mywebsite.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmywebsite.com%2Fwp-admin%2F)
 * I try to login with the correct user and password but it redirects me back to
   the login page. I know I am using the right password because when I type in a
   wrong password it states that it is wrong.
 * I am not sure what all info I need to provide except that this website is in 
   a sub folder of another website.

 * Try deleting or renaming the WP .htaccess file.
